Indications
- Lower Respiratory Tract Infections.
- Upper Respiratory Tract Infections.
- Urinary Tract Infections.
- Prophylaxis in Surgery.
Adults: The Anuclav 1000mg tablet should only be used in patients with a Glomerular.
Filtration rate of > 30ml/ min.
Dosage Administration
- Adults and children over 12 years: One Anuclav 1.2g vial every 8 hours.
- Severe Infections: One Anuclav 1.2g vial every 6 hours.
- MIld to moderate Infections: One Anuclav 625mg tablet two times a day.
- Severe Infections: One Anuclav 1000mg tablet two times a day.
- Children - 3 months 12 years: 30mg/kg Anuclav 8 hourly.
- Children-0-3 months: 30mg/ kg Anuclav every 12 hrs. then increase to 8 hourly.
- Adult dosage for Surgical Prophylaxis: 1.2g Anuclave I.V.
- Operations with high risk of Infections: Require three and upto four doses of 1.2g inj 24 hrs.
